I must admit that when Andrea first suggested we host a “Characters in Costume Blogfest,” I was not the most observant person when it came to costumes and a character’s appearance or thinking about how a character could be create or described. But after reading everyone’s posts, I have come to a new appreciation of the emotional and storytelling force of costume and appearance. Thanks everyone for making this a thought-provoking first day!
Don’t worry if you do not see your post on today’s recap; we will be sure to include it in tomorrow’s.

Hi Christina. Sadly I’ve had to change my topic. I haven’t the time to write about Joan and Adrian, as my brother was rushed to hospital again yesterday, but I’m writing about “Hush…Hush, Sweet Charlotte”. I planned to write about that one for Halloween, so what I’m doing in tying the costumes of “Hush…Hush, Sweet Charlotte” into that article. I hope that is alright.

Thanks Christina. I’m almost finished my article, but it will most probably be a day late. I really wanted it be on time this time, but I can’t be helped with the hospital business going on.

No problem at all! I think we might put up an ultimate recap tomorrow and will definitely include yours. I understand how hard it can be and, like Andrea, will be praying!

Thanks Andrea. Yesterday was his 25th birthday, but sadly he couldn’t celebrate it being in the hospital. It’s sad. I’m almost finished my article, but it will probably be a day late due to the hospital business going on.

I was practically a day late with mine…only saved by living on the west coast. 🙂 I look forward to reading yours, whenever you get around to it.
