The Movie Scientist Blogathon Begins Next Friday!

Just a quick reminder that The Movie Scientist Blogathon is starting next Friday, the 19th of February. I am honored to be co-hosting this event with Silver Screenings and we are quite awed by the range of movies to be reviewed so far!

From 1897 to 2015, male and female scientists, black and white and technicolor, comedy and horror, noir and fantasy and sci-fi and drama…I couldn’t have constructed a better list if I’d thought about it for a week. In fact, many of the entry subjects will be new to me and I anticipate having my movie horizons expanded considerably.

There is still time to sign up if you haven’t yet, or if you would simply like to write an extra post or two (or three or four or five…or even six…we’re not fussy).

The sign-up sheet and roster can be found here. On the day of the blogathon you can send us the link to your post in the comments section here or the original post announcing the blogathon or on twitter. We will also put up a recap post at the end of each day, containing all the day’s entries.

February 19th = good scientists 

February 20th = bad scientists

February 21st = lonely scientists
